Fraser Coast Anglican College is well known for consistently strong academic results and adherence to high standards inside and outside of the learning environment. Academic performance can open many doors for FCAC students, and FCAC understands that there are many other factors required to make a student successful in modern society.
FCAC’s focus is on the holistic development of each of its students; the essence of this philosophy is captured in the College motto – ‘Enriching Body, Mind and Spirit”. This approach is evident in the modern learning programs as well as the range of engaging extra-curricular activities FCAC offers students to assist with the development of their character and areas of personal strength. The community of FCAC is one of inclusion relying heavily on the power of positive relationships between students, parents and staff for the best outcomes for students.
International Students
International students at Fraser Coast Anglican College experience all educational aspects of school life while also being fully supported by a dedicated group of staff that continually track and support each student in our care. FACA International students are cared for by the College's own dedicated homestay families who provide a safe, caring and supportive environment for them to undertake their studies and enjoy an Australian cultural experience.
Students may elect to study from one term (nine to ten weeks), one semester (six months), one year though of course most international students are enrolled for many years and go on to attain their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and progress into many leading Universities such as: The University of Queensland (UQ); Griffith University; Queensland University of Technology (QUT); to name a few. Of course University of the Sunshine Coast is minutes from Fraser Coast Anglican College and ranked in the top 10 Queensland Universities! Students may study from Year 4 to Year 12 on a visa guardianship basis.
FCAC International students enjoy full immersion into College life by attending classes with domestic students and having the opportunity to complete their formal secondary education (matriculation). These students also make lifelong friendships with their fellow classmates and enjoy various opportunities to participate in outdoor education through camps and excursions.
